Apple is offering a huge discount to college students on its major devices like Apple MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13”, 14” & 16”, iMac, iPad Air & iPad Pro. This is under Apple’s Education discount programme. ‘Back to School’ offer was launched by Apple for students on India’s Online Store.
The tech giant – Apple is offering students heavy discounts on the most recent models of MacBooks, iPads, Apple Pencils, and Smart Keyboards as part of the education discount programme.
The Apple Store’s online special education section is where the discount is available. Its annual education offer is provided for current and recently accepted college/university students, parents purchasing on their behalf, and teachers and staff at all levels in an effort to transform hybrid learning.
Discounts ON:
MacBook Air:
- MacBook Air with M1 chip starts from Rs. 99,900, however, under the student’s discount it can be availed at discount of Rs. 10,000 off at the price of Rs. 89,900 on Apple’s online store.
- MacBook Air with M2 chipset begins from a starting price of Rs. 1,19,900 but will be available to students at an exclusive price of Rs. 1,09,900 for the base model.
MacBook Pro:
- MacBook Pro 13 inch generally comes at a starting price of Rs. 1,29,900, but it will available at Rs. 1,19,000 for students at a discount of 10,000.
- MacBook Pro 14” can be availed by students at a price of Rs. 1,75,410 with hefty discount of Rs. 19,490. The original price of MacBook Pro 14” is at Rs. 1,94,900.
- MacBook Pro 16 inch with M1 Pro will be Rs. 2,15,910 after a discount of 23,990 from MRP of Rs. 2,39,900.
iMac:
- iMac can be bought just at Rs. 1,07,910 which is originally priced at Rs. 1,19,000 after discount of over 11,000.
iPad:
- With the education discount, the iPad Pro with original price Rs. 71,900 starts at Rs. 68,300 under Apple’s special offer. While the iPad Air (original price Rs 54,900) starts at Rs 50,780. The promotion is valid for the iPad Air 5th Generation, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 5th Generation, and iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd Generation.
AirPods:
- AirPods Pro can be bought at price of Rs. 12,200 while AirPods can be purchased at Rs. 6,400 in this special student’s offer.
Note: When buying a MacBook or iPad, eligible customers will receive an AirPods free of charge in addition to a free six-month Apple Music subscription. Free access to Apple TV Plus is also part of the discounted Apple Student Plan, which is also available. When the Apple Music Student subscription expires, the free access to Apple TV+ would also end.
Apple Care+:
- Students will also get 20% discount on AppleCare+. AppleCare+ is a service provided by Apple for users to extend warranty & technical assistance for their device along with the repairs of device at discounted prices in case of accidental damage.
- The promotional period will last till September 22 as per Apple & devices bought after it won’t be eligible for AppleCare+ plan. Apple offers special discounts to students from the range of its latest products to necessary accessories like AirPods & services like AppleCare+ & Apple Music.
